The Backbone Rack offers a versatile solution if you want to use the left side of the rear of your Sprinter for storage, carry your spare wheel, or combine both.
A robust new box with a sliding drawer will soon be available for this rack, which can be easily removed. Additionally, a module for your spare wheel will be available, which requires no spacers.
When used in combination with a Cargo Ladder, the Backbone Rack allows you to make the most of the storage possibilities at the rear of your vehicle. You can carry your spare wheel, store boxes, or mount other accessories, creating a fully organized and accessible setup. The rack provides complete freedom to arrange your gear exactly how you need it, maximizing every inch of space at the back of your van.
Backbone Rack installation requirements
270-degree doors: You will need to replace the 270-degree hinges with 180-degree hinges. The Cargo Ladder attaches to the hinges and mounts on the door.
180-degree doors: The Cargo Ladder attaches to the hinges and mounts on the door. You will need to drill two holes in the chassis to mount the Cargo Ladder on the Mercedes Sprinter W907/W910/W906. The ladder connects to the sheet metal behind one of its mounting plates, ensuring a sleek design.
