The ARB 4 Liter Tank Upgrade Kit is designed to enhance the performance of your existing ARB onboard air compressor setup in a Mercedes Sprinter van. It delivers faster tire inflation, greater air volume, and improved support for air-powered tools—especially useful when traveling off-grid or in remote areas.
At the core of this upgrade is ARB’s high-quality 4-liter aluminum air tank, rated for up to 150 psi. With four user-configurable ¼ inch NPT ports and two JIC-4 male fittings included, the tank provides high airflow capacity while being up to 50% lighter than steel tanks. It can be mounted horizontally or vertically and minimizes fluid retention with outlets placed at the lowest point.
Also included is a heavy-duty braided hose for routing into the engine bay.
Installation Requirements ARB 4 Liter Tank Upgrade Kit
This upgrade kit is intended for Mercedes Sprinter vans that already have an ARB onboard air compressor installed. The kit includes:
- A 4-liter aluminum air tank with four ¼ inch NPT ports and two JIC-4 male fittings
- Mounting brackets and hardware for secure underbody installation
- Braided hose for routing to the engine compartment
All components are optimized for lightweight performance and easy installation. The tank is daisy chain compatible, allowing expansion with additional tanks if needed.
