Advantages of the Camp 2 Roof Rack for Your Campervan
The Camp 2 Roof Rack is specifically designed for Hymer campervans equipped with a pop-up roof and an awning. It seamlessly integrates with the vehicle’s structure while ensuring the pop-up roof remains fully functional.
A key feature of the Camp 2 Roof Rack is its ability to accommodate a 50-inch double-row curved LED bar, perfectly aligning with the front curve of the Sprinter.
The L3 Hymer version extends beyond the pop-up roof, providing space for floor decking. This addition allows for easy roof access, making cleaning more convenient. Important: The L2 version does not have space for floor decking.
The top tube of the roof rack is designed to follow the van’s natural shape, sitting slightly inward compared to the bottom tube. The rear section is also curved for a perfect fit with the van’s body. Additionally, the roof rack’s backside is designed to accommodate the rearview camera without obstructing visibility, while the side ensures sufficient space for the awning.
Included in Standard Package:
- Roof brackets for installation
- Camp 2 Roof Rack Loop
- Installation hardware
Optional Add-Ons (L3 Only, Not Included as Standard):
- Floor decking 120 mm
- Floor Decking Roof Vent Large
- Floor Decking End Part
Camp 2 Roof Rack Installation Requirements
Important: The Camp 2 Roof Rack for Hymer is compatible with pop-up roofs. If your Sprinter does not have one, the regular Camp 2 Roof Rack is a better option.
Installation uses shared mounting points with the pop-up roof, minimizing modifications to your van. Only one hole needs to be drilled through the backplate of the awning—no drilling into the van itself is required.
