 Advantages of Side Steps Sprinter for your campervan

The Sequoia Side Steps make it easier to step into your Mercedes Sprinter, especially when it’s equipped for off-road adventures. These steps enhance accessibility,and protect the van’s sides from damage caused by rocks and branches.

Built for both the L2 and L3 wheelbases. The Sequoia Side Steps stay within the van’s outer dimensions, ensuring they do not extend beyond the mirrors. They can also adjust in their overhang position, allowing them to be placed closer or further from the van depending on your preference.

The side steps use sturdy steel brackets for mounting. Larger brackets are installed beneath the front and sliding doors, attaching securely to both the van’s frame and sill. While smaller brackets mount to the sill alone, providing ample space underneath the van for water tanks or other equipment.

You can shift the overhang position by 20mm on each side to customize the visual fit to your liking.The large openings in the steps let mud and snow pass through, ensuring solid grip in rougher conditions. Additionally, the design minimizes the loss of ground clearance, maximizing your off-road capability.

For reference, the positioning of the side sliding door is as seen from the driver’s seat. The side steps come in a pair:

  • Side 1 provides a large step at the front door, a tube extending all the way to the rear wheel arch. 
  • Side 2 features a double step for both the front and sliding doors, with the tube extending from the front door to the rear wheel arch. The step on the sliding door side is slightly smaller, offering more maneuverability when driving through tight corners.

Sequoia Side Steps Sprinter installation requirements

This product requires the installation of rivet nuts.

If you’re wondering about compatibility, the Sequoia Side Steps will fit on 2WD vans, although a 50mm lift is recommended for the best results. Additionally, if you have an OEM heater on the driver’s side, it will still fit with the steps, but you may need to make small modifications to the heater exhaust for optimal performance.

Shipping Time

Orders are generally processed within 5 business days (excluding weekends and holidays) after the payment has been received. You will receive a notification email when your order has shipped or is ready for pickup.

Send us an email for more information on delivery time for products on backorder.

Parcel or Freight

Orders will be shipped by either pallet or parcel depending on the product and/or order size. Certain products are only shipped by pallet. Adding such a product to your order will automatically mean a pallet shipping price will be calculated at checkout.

Parcel shipping prices are calculated per product as most products are very large and can not be combined into one parcel. Large orders of only parcel products may still be shipped on pallets for better shipping efficiency.

EU Shipping

We currently ship within the EU. If you want your products to be shipped but the webshop does not offer to ship for the location on your order, please contact us so we can give you a shipping quote.

Local Pick Up

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our shop at the Leemskuilen 15 in Westerhoven, 5563CL. ONLY WITH AN APPOINTMENT.

After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up (if all products are in stock) within 5 business days. We will send you an email when your order is ready.

Orders with back-ordered products can be picked up in batches. Contact us if you want to pickup your products in stock.

Shipping Status

When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification from our shipping partner which will include a tracking number you can use to check its status. Please allow 48 hours for the tracking information to become available.

If you haven’t received your Track and Trace within 5 days of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at info@dutchvanparts.com with your name and order number, and we will look into it for you.

Return Policy

Returns are accepted for 14 days after the customer received or picks up the package. The products must be in like-new condition and arrive back in like-new/saleable condition. If a mistake or manufacturing defect return is authorized Dutchvanparts will cover the return shipping costs.

Returns are not accepted on products that have been drilled or modified. This would include items like Cargo Boxes that are drilled for mounting etc.

In the event, a return is authorized for reasons outside of manufacturing, packaging, insurance, and shipping costs will be the responsibility of the customer. All refunds will be processed once the product is received back at Dutchvanparts in like-new condition and free from damage. Please email info@dutchvanparts.com for a return authorization before shipping.

Any modifications, damage, or holes drilled into a vehicle to mount or use a Dutchvanparts product or third-party products are the sole responsibility of the owner. Dutchvanparts will not refund, pay, repair, or make any sort of remedy for a vehicle that has been modified in the event of a return.
